Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21 1982. Maggie Grace is an American actor best known for her character Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. Originating from Worthington Ohio she dropped out of high school and moved to Los Angeles with her mother after her parents divorce. Although she was struggling financially, her 2001 debut was as Rachel's Room's principal character. Following her win of a Young Artist Award in 2002 for her performance of Murder in Greenwich of a 15-year aged Martha Moxley as a murder victim, she went on to take home the award. Grace was Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television show in 2004. The show featured her as the principal role for two seasons, and was awarded a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace left the television series in 2005 to focus on an even more prominent role in movies, and had a role in the film Taken alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in Taken.
