Audrey-Tautou

Audrey Justine Tautou (born Audrey Justine Tautou) is a French actor and model. She rose to prominence by playing the awkward, eccentric waitress Amelie and won many awards. Tautou was often compared to Audrey Hepburn, due to the mix of attractiveness, charismatic acting and talent. Though she was born into an intelligent family with dark hair, her mother and father were both dentists and teachers. Acting was the last task she ever planned to pursue. The acting bug bit her in school and she decided to be a professional actor. She attended acting classes at Cours Florent, and then landed her first TV film Coeur de cible. Venus Beauty Institute was her first feature film, for which she was given high marks. The daring actress likes to experiment with a variety of roles and has acted in various genres of film including romantic comedy Amelie to the action thriller Dirty Pretty Things. A native of France she appeared in numerous French films before becoming a star in her Hollywood debut along with Tom Hanks in the film The Da Vinci Code. Her reputation is a renowned model for her fashion sense.
